Frequently Asked Questions

Are there seats available?

Yes, we have seating available: a couch, two club chairs, two long wooden benches, two bar stools, two cafe chairs, sixteen stackable side chairs, and four poofs on the floor. We welcome floor seating for those who are able and willing. All seating is first-come, first-served. If you wind up standing… you’ll still get to lean on our record bins (and maybe find a treasure).

What’s parking like?

Your sojourn to Healing Force of the Universe in Pasadena is rewarded by a quick exit off the 210, followed by a breezy plop into a free, easy street parking spot along our cross streets of E Walnut St and the west side of Michigan Avenue (DO NOT PARK ON THE EAST SIDE OF MICHIGAN AVE). We also have five dedicated parking spots in our back lot marked HFOTU. You’ll never want to park anywhere else in Los Angeles again.

The show sold out; will there be tickets available at the door?

Quick answer: We do not reserve extra tickets for the door. Long answer: Tickets might open up, maybe some ticketholders don’t show up. Maybe everyone inside is chill, and the vibe is right to let a few more guests in. If you really want to come to the show, but it’s sold out, you might have to wait a little bit, but chances are good that you can still get in. Our capacity is 80; it’s not guaranteed.

Do you have a projector?

Yes, we have a projector mounted and ready with a 180” screen available as well. Here’s a full list of all of our backline and party supply equipment:

Can I have someone film my show?

Yes, but. We love that you want to film your show or event. We think our spot is dope as hell, and it’s good for us to have eyes outside our space see how cool it is. But our first priority is for our guests attending the show to feel the power of your art without the encumbered presence of a videographer/photographer running around blocking views or flashing lights for the right capture. We expect your camera people to take a fly-on-the-wall approach while capturing your performance. If you want to shoot a live performance video or have a photo shoot, let’s discuss it here: www.healingforcerecords.com/rentals.

I have another question.
